I am gonna try this updo tonight. If I remember I will take a pic of how it turns out.
I am just getting tired of the sock or chinese bun or the bee or cinnamon bun. SO I am looking for some new ideas.
If anybody else has any good updo recommendations let me know.
I prefer not to use hairsticks, but I do occasionally with the chinese bun.

That looks cool! My hair is too short though, of course :)
If you have a fringe/bangs that are longer, or no fringe, you can always do a wrap around french braid. I always do now because it keeps the hair out of my eyes:

Well, except for the littlest bit to side sweep. I'm a teenager, it's what we do.
My hair doesn't seem thick, in fact, my pony-tail circumference is less than 3'', but I seem to have a lot of hair. Maybe my hair just doesn't all go in a pony yet LOL

Oh, that's really pretty! My hair isn't long enough either. Make sure you post pictures!
Hayley, that's really cute! My fingers are retarded though, so I can't french braid across my head no matter how hard I try.

The picture of the fancy updo from youtube that I did last night is in my photo album.
Sorry I can't figure out how to post a pic in this thread. Could someone explain that to me please?

FriesianGirl, that's very cute!!
PlainJaneGirl, to post a pic, you'll need a photo that has an html address. It could be in your LHC photo album or somewhere on the Web. Then when you hit "Reply" you'll click on the little picture of the mountain icon, and type in the html address there.

Mellie - I did as you said....sounds simple....but my post came up empty with no pic but before I clicked for it to post it had IMG and then all the http stuff and then IMG at the end of the line so I don't know why it did not work.
Edit : I tried again and previewed the post but it came up empty. This is what it is showing:

Oh wow, that is just gorgeous!!! It looks so intricate and your hair has an amazing sheen to it, too.
