Just so everyone knows, today (10/11/2008) and tomorrow (10/12/2008) are the best days to get your hair cut to encourage growth according to the Farmer's Almanac.

Thanks for the tidbit. I think this should be posted every month. So is next month's on the 11th and 12th.....or are they on different dates of every month?? Next time when (or if) I get a trim I am gonna try to go by this. has any body gone by this before???

I have never tried this before but i will starting today...i want my hair to be longer but thicker at the same time..hopefully this will help....i would love to know if anyone else has tried this?:confused:

Eh, i think I'll do it. Since i was gonna get my hair trimmed soon anyways and i have nothing to do today. Maybe that will influence it. that's cool.

Yup, I was inspired. I did a microtrim and am at exactly 26.75 in now. My ends feel happier and better. It started as a S&D mission, but I found enough splits to warrant a trim. I probably won't trim again until next season, during a good lunar time.

I've been doing it for decades. Even as a teenager, it was something we would do. I've always heard it was the opposite though, trim at new moon for thickness and full moon for fast growth, in the fertile, moist signs as suggested, including Libra and excluding Capricorn (too dry and barren). Pisces is one of the best signs.

I think it works. I know when I do it outside of the cycle, hair grows slower (plants too). I hardly trim these days, but did pick up the scissors today for a little S&D session.

I did too!!!! i used feye's self trim instruction and cut my own hair. I am not ready to go to salon yet. About two years ago i went through some server hair loss due to stress i think and my hair become very thin. It has improved a lot within past two years but still not as thick as they used to be so i feel uncomfortable letting someone else touch my hair....Thats exactly what i am hoping for.

Hmm, I always found this intriguing. The correlation of moon phases when it comes to hair growth. Has anyone noticed a difference in the speed of their hair growth when trimming according to the moon's cycle?

I cut my hair in March on one of the days the Morocco Method site said was best for thickness. A difference has yet to be seen.
