I love the lapis. I would be jumping on that baby if it were not so long. Gorgeous!!

So I'm not the only one who dreams of lapis. Sadly, too long. And I'm broke.

I've realized that a lot of the joy for me is acquiring and wheeling and dealing. There is a core of things I don't want to part with, but it's a rather small portion of the whole. In the end, almost all of it is for sale/trade for the right piece. Kwim?

The lapis :thudpile: but alas I'm broke until AFTER Christmas...sigh

Wow... if I had the money I would definitely go for the wenge with pink paua, such a beauty.

Life would be easier if one was rich ;) I think I will make that my goal. I'm being totally realistic.

Love that lapis one.... Luckily it's too long for me.... ( and my credit card is chewed to pieces by the ficcare monster...)

Quasi I know what you mean about dealing and exchanges... The thrill of getting something new..

I keep coming back to this thread for the pink paua stick and have to remind myself over and over again that I don't like pink and that I never would wear it but it's just so pretty.

it is really really pretty! I'm not a pink person either and I almost kept it. But I'm not because I actually want it to be MORE pink. It reads as gold first and then pink, to me. Just saying'

Two gone...which one will be next?!

Why do so many people hate on pink? I love pink. I don't wear pink clothes much, but pink hair sticks are fine by me!

No idea Kherome. Pink is even one of my best colors, and I still don't like it.

I loved pink until I was about 22 then decided I hated it because I wanted to be a grownup and filled my wardrobe with black. Then I got a bit older and thought screw it, I'm a pink princess

Pink makes me look like a zombie... a really ugly one. I'm just trying to think of others, here.

Congrats to the new owner of the lapis stick! That one is really stunning.

Pink makes me look a bit washed out too, as I'm white as a sheet. But in small doses, like hair toys, it's fine. I like it because it's a happy color.

Pink makes my skin look beautiful. But then I can get the same look from wearing light blue.

Thanks to my youngest daughter (also a lover of deeper blues), the lapis will be my Christmas gift from her. I haz such a happy! :happydance: That stick was a firm fave from the moment it was listed last year, especially at that length! It's already on the way (you rock, Quasi!) and I'll have to behave and not open it beforehand (if the post behaves too--Christmas is 3 weeks from today--eek!)!

I have a soft spot for pink (hot pink was in mah wedding, and I had teeny weeny tiny, soft pink flowers on mah dress), but prefer the stronger shades of pink, leaning to orangey pinks over the blue-pink and pastel ones (that don't work well with the whites of my hair). So yeah, I love the gold and pinkish hue of the stick up there (although too light, so a no go with my hair), but that lapis had my :heartbeat . :inlove:

I love pink! I'm a girl, why not take advantage of it? I don't like pink on most men though....( which actually I get o see quite a lot in this very open minded and libertine city...)

I don't view colors as gender specific so I don't care about the gender of the wearer, but I think pink looks great on pretty much anyone with dark hair! Lighter hair depends on their overall color...if you're sheet white like me, I think it's harder to pull off sometimes, depending on the shade. But in a hair toy I think anyone can wear it, it's such a small amount. Especially a TT...they are so beautiful!

Hi QQ. You know I'm still lusting after those 2 remaining TT's. I was just checking out the Etsy pages referenced, and they look identical. (?)
