Copper bristle brush?

What is your opinions on this? I am looking to get a new brush and thought this might be a fairly good choice as I tend to get a dry, itchy, flaky scalp in the winter.

Also, would there be any difference (damagewise) between the rectangle or oval one?

IDK about the "therapy" part of it. Seems a tad bit gimmicky to me.

I tend to agree that if something works at all, copy cats and other delivery methods will follow.
Since the dandruff shampoo makers haven't been plugging copper, especially since compression gear infused with copper is trending, I'd say this is likely a mid quality metal fined brush. Not worth the investment.

I do, however, have a bias against metal bristles as the tips often aren't attached well (this particular brush is in the price point where this happens) and pulls hairs, often out, unnecessarily.

One quick opinion on copper plating as an anti fungal agent (http://thebeautybrains.com/2007/07/will-copper-stop-your-dandruff/).

I would advise against it because of the cushion. I have had hairs get caught in between the bristle and cushion where they join, frequently. Brushes with a flat wood base are best.

Also, wouldn't copper oxidize (http://www.saddleblankethomecollection.com/media/zooms/NewFurn11_2014/oxidized_copper_side_table_2_zoom.jpg)? That seems like it would create snag points, or just eventually flake off if it's copper plating.
