So tomorrow is Thanksgiving...anyone else going to style their hair?
I really only "do" my hair on the holidays so it is quite an event for my hair lol.
I will be using a few jumbo hot rollers just on the top crown section of my hair to give some volume and shape around the face. I like doing just the top like this because it is flattering, looks less "done up", and doesn't potentially heat damage the bottom length.
I usually use Jilbere hot rollers but I'm going to be using this new Conair set my mom gave me that I have yet to try out.

Anyone else doing anything special with their hair for the holiday?

I'll probably put my hair up so my mother in law doesn't see it. She doesn't like long hair on me, and she has made that known before. I figure out of sight, out of mind, so up it goes!

Nothing fancy here; I'm thinking of a topsy tail with a new flexi.
But I may also just do a French Braid ponytail....or maybe a LWB half up with a new fork :hmm:
It will depend on what I decide to wear...and how my hair is behaving

Up, so it's not in the food!

(Really, my mom taught me at a young age that my hair had to be restrained when eating. It's practically automatic for me to put it up in any food-handling context.)

I'll be washing my hair in the morning (I was supposed to wash it two days ago but life happens) and doing my usual updo - braided bun - which will be practical for cooking and playing with kids, yet still look nice!

I'm feeling ambitious, so I'm trying a crown braid.

I'm thinking of doing a braided bun too. My mom really liked it yesterday so I think that's the plan for later today.

Up in a twist using a Ficcare Maximas. Away from the food lol.

I think I'll do a crown braid too, maybe a fishtale one. Happy Thanksgiving all!

What's that like? I imagine two antler sticks with a red button in the middle

It's a Christmas ornament! Instead of putting a hook on it, I put a bobby pin on it and stuck it into the bun form lol

Nadine <3 that's really adorable!
I will be putting my hair in two dutch braids and bunning the tails in a single bun today. :)

2 dutch braids bunned at the back so as to keep hair out of food. It looks good, too.

Cinnabun with a WWC stick. Super boring and pretty much my everyday hair...but we stayed home and didn't go to the in-laws, so I did all the cooking and really just having it up was my biggest concern. :)

I poufed up the top, and made 3 little buns along my hairline in back. :)
