Hello!

Does anyone know of a hairstylist in Sydney, Australia who is good with historic/renaissance kinds of hairstyles (including using hair extensions)?

I'm looking for something like the following:
- intricate like: http://40.media.tumblr.com/912a90214f9f442d34cafdf7f7d8b11c/tumblr_n16yk4b1JQ1sq7bm2o1_500.jpg
- overall volume like: https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/5e/35/ed/5e35ed103307d8629c23f51a28179be7.jpg
- and this: https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/c2/09/0b/c2090b6571d1c493692cc4dfb214a939.jpg

Alternatively, if you know how to do hair like this then let me know and I'll commission you!

Thanks in advance.

Sorry, I don't know hairdressers in the area, but you can learn to do those styles using some helpful YouTube tutorials. ;)
Here is a tutorial for the third style (Margaery Tyrell) you asked about (by ladollyvita33):

And here is something similar (another Margaery Tyrell style):

For the first style, with the braid loops/coronets, check out ideas from these tutorials:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T1ps0aTD_Ic and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hMXBKzVS3cQ and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1shAx9_X6dI

Also, check out torrinpaige (https://www.youtube.com/user/torrinpaige), silvousplaits (https://www.youtube.com/user/silvousplaits), Loepsie (https://www.youtube.com/user/Loepsie) channels - they do lots of styles like that! ;) You might want to search under "Game of Thrones" or other fantasy hairstyles. :D
Best of luck and happy styling! :cheer:

Thanks for those links! I'll have a look but I fear that the task will be insurmountable for me!

You might be surprised what you can learn to do on your own hair. As long as your arms are in working order and you have time to practice once every day or two for a while, the tutorial vids are designed so that you can learn to do it all yourself.
