At the recent London meet, I realised that I missed my 10-year LHC and hair growing anniversary. I hope it's OK to post a little retrospective here.
This is what my hair looked like when I joined LHC in July 2005:

Soon after, I discovered henna, and kept using it for a number of years; at hip length I started adding temporary dyes such as Adore and Elumen:

Reached my original goal of tailbone and the richest red colour in December 2010:

Then decided to stop with henna/dye and grow my virgin colour (not seen since my early 20s when I first started home blonde dyes and highlights), as well as try to reach classic length. Here's a funny picture of my roots, about a year on:

Tried several applications of Colour B4 and it stripped down a lot of the red:

By July 2013 it had grown out enough to look like an intended 2-tone effect (photo taken at the London meet):

In May 2014 I was past classic:

Although classic length looked impressive, it felt too long and unwieldy for me, so I trimmed to BCL, to let it grow again (I'm a no-trimmer by nature/laziness). My current siggy is showing the May 2015 past classic again, but here is what my hair looks like today (or rather, looked like on Saturday - London meet, taken by rach):

Hope this shows a little of how much fun I had since joining LHC and meeting so many wonderful people online and in person. Thanks to everyone on these boards for advice, support and sharing - without you all, my hair wouldn't be what it is! :flowers:
