View Full Version : Length update after long absence and length maintenance while growing out dye

Hello, it's been a very long time since I've been on! The past couple of years I've been growing out some dye regret after succumbing to the brightly colored ends trend- my hair does NOT like bleach in any way, shape, or form. Oooops. Well, I'm actively growing again. Despite a recent accident involving some singed ends and a BBQ grill (bun came undone while fixing dinner, never again) that necessitated some serious S&D plus an unwanted trim, I'm making some really great progress. I think I'm exactly at mid-butt length, a non-existent length I just made up. I could really use some hairy pixie dust love while I baby this mess down to classic again!

Thanks guys, it's been a while. Next stop is classic, although it may take a while because I have to kick myself while babying my singed ends :/ I undid a lot of the damage with several intense S&D sessions, but that left my hemline in a really weird condition. It's a weird feeling to be actively growing again after several years of maintaining at tailbone while cutting out dye and damage. I hit classic at one point a few years ago, but the ends were super fragile and frayed from previous heat damage (before I learned myself) that I had to cut back to tailbone anyway. Here's hoping for some happy growing for all!
