You need to upload from your computer to a photohosting site like photobucket or imgur or something like that, then post the links here.

Oh a "version" of a wide-tooth comb. They're not bad, but in me they cause tangly hair. I would recommend a plain wide tooth comb.

I think it's a double row detangling comb? Found something similar here: http://www.mancave.co.nz/brand/kent/kent-21t-double-row-detangling-comb

I am a man, and I work in TV News. That kind of comb gives me the volume and 'fresh outta bed' look I desire.
Is there a specific name for this kind of Comb? I would like to research/buy more online.

This should be very close to the same
http://www.amazon.com/Mebco-Double-Dipped-Detangler-Large/dp/B000CEOU3M/ref=sr_1_1?rps=1&ie=UTF8&qid=1440899433&sr=8-1&keywords=detangling+comb
Or you can search for detangling combs!

Looks like a devils trap for hair to me. I prefer just a normal wide tooth myself :)

I've never seen a comb like that. It's very unique. Any idea where you got it from? I agree it looks like a detangler. If you can't find another, maybe one like this would work. https://www.ouidad.com/double-detangler.html
This one is narrow like yours, but only one row.

If you are able to identify it, please come back and let us know. :)

Oh, I have one of those, I got it from Sally's, I think it's this one: http://www.sallybeauty.com/shower-detangler-comb/SBS-502133,default,pd.html
It's really hard to see in that picture, but if you google "Tool Structure Shower Detangler Comb" you can see the tines are curved in the same way. :)

Where I live, they're easier to find than a plain wide-tooth comb. But I've never actually tried one.

I have one like this. It was just labelled as a detangling comb in a supermarket (in the UK), I've never seen them called anything special. It's awful though (I can't detangle my hair with it without pulling and snagging) and so I never actually use it.

So I'm curious: do double-detangling combs detangle more thoroughly or gently than standard detangling combs? :hmm:

I doubt it, meteor. But that's just what I think... I have never tried one of those combs. I think they can probably make a mess of your hair (long hair not short).

^ Yes, that makes sense from looking at the design. But I wonder what the purpose of that design would be... :hmm: Maybe the second row speeds up the detangling for hair that isn't too long or fragile.
I see those Mebco or Ouidad double-detanglers (http://media.onsugar.com/files/ons1/192/1922153/36_2009/898afbeb26bc758e_shampoo03.xlarge.jpg) (with straight rows, spaced fairly widely apart) are pretty popular, for example, some were even designed for curly hair: http://www.curlynikki.com/2010/04/ouidad-double-detangler.html

Might be better than a brush, when you're used to a brush? IDK. I've never tried one so I can't say, but that review on curlynikki's site seems promising - for that type of comb. I still think it's different from the one talked about in this thread. I think that one is a disaster waiting to happen for long hair.

^ Oh yes, I agree, it is pretty different. :agree:
I can see how the comb stevemayne was asking about could create extra root volume without creating much poof/frizz. I'm not sure... but it sure does look interesting, of course. :)
