Disc bun hack

Pull all hair through a soft smallish scrunci (I use a cut off baby sock cuff)
but not all the way, so you a a big hair loop and a tail.
Wrap tail around scunci base, then cover with scrunci.
Split loop in two then proceed as usual for disc bun:
take one loop to each side, insert stick and
voila!

That is a great idea :)

I have some outgrown tiny socks from the grandkidlets and will have to put them to use. That will also help give the bun a little support on those days when you can't seem to get the darn thing balanced and situated so nothing is pulling anywhere.
