Need a new haircut

Hi,

Wasn't sure where to post this but I think I have posted in this forum in the past many moons ago. I'm thinking about getting a completely different style to what I have now...which is kinda a mess and I never style my hair. I really want to go for the Noel Gallagher style like this;

I'm kinda aware that my face shape is different...I believe it's pear shaped? I'm not sure on the terminology but my jaw is wider than my forehead. I'm just wondering if anyone could provide me advice or prerequisites that I can tell my barber or stylist so they can help me achieve this look. Here's a picture of my most most cut if it helps

I'm not even really sure how to describe my hair. If anybody could offer me advice on how to achieve Noel's hair...it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks lapushka. It is a bit longer now since it's been about a month since my last cut. Maybe an inch or so. Just not sure about to go about asking the barber/hair stylist about how to cut and style it like Noel's hair. I get anxiety about the barber...it's not normal! I don't know how to talk to them to get the cut I like.
