Does macadamia oil penetrate?

Hi, I was wondering if macadamia oil penetrates the hair shaft. I have only found one article to suggest it does. So I have come here for your expertise :)

I haven't heard about it penetrating. I just did a quick search and there were no scientific research articles on it. If it does, it would be only partially. It's a very heavy oil so it would do more coating.

Thank you. I've been using it instead of serum and it seems to disappear unlike other oils which just sit there looking greasy!!!

All I know is that there's barely research done on macadamia oil. Which is a shame, because my hair LOVES it as well.
