HELP (Cassia questions)

Hi guys, just got the cassia for my first treatment and mixed it up in warm water to pancake batter consistency, covered it and let it sit. How long should I let it sit?

The stuff happened to arrive in the mail on wash day. Am I supposed to wash my hair before I use it or can I just put it on my dirty hair? I've never done this before and I have virgin bcl hair.

Please, any help you can give me would be amazing!

You only need to let it sit 2-4 hours :) You can use it on dirty hair without issue.

That's a relief. I did end up washin my hair before doing it and it went alright. I'm not sure when to do it again though actually. I bought a pound and a half of it though, so I definitely will do it again. I used about 180g for my bcl hair and mixed it to the consistency of green mud pancake batter. Not sure if it should be thinner or thicker or WHAT. And not sure how to tell if it worked. I have more questions than anything.
