First anniversary

If I measured right, I've gained 7". I think I'm pretty close to apl. Yes I'm short, 4'11" to be exact. I use Suave daily clarifying shampoo. I condition below ear length once a week. Haven't had a trim in a little over a year, nor have I used a hairdryer, curling iron, flat iron, hairspray or styling gel. And this is my natural color. Just put it up in a peacock twist using a medium flexi. I would love to start braiding my hair so I've been reading the threads that discuss different ways finish the braid and what would cause the least damage.

In the future I may microtrim. It all depends on how the ends look and feel. I like the way my hair looks and feels. Baby fine, not very straight, not very wavy, with several cow licks scattered about. Looking forward to my next anniversary :)

If your hair is shiny in a cam flash it means that it's actually shiny ;) No hair shines in a flash when it's dull and dry! :D

Thanks everyone for your comments. I guess I have a bit of a wave after all. The second picture in my post was taken after a shower and my hair was almost dry. I love reading anniversary posts and seeing the progress pictures that are posted.
