As far as i umderstand this is not a new line, just revamped with some fresh advertisements and maybe they did add a few products to the line, idk.
Anyways, so ce i couldnt find anything on it usimg the search i thought its time. I only bought the conditioner to use for CO washing and im so pleased with this stuff. The consistency is quite liquid, i looove the heavy on herbal extracts i gredient list and apparently it nourishes the follicle to enhance the terminal of each hair (that would take a long time to test, but meh), so its supposed to promote maximum thickness. My hair was very easy to get clean and detangling was a dreamalthought the conditioner itself is not the most slippery one.
The smell is out of this world, very earthy and tea like, not super strong but super unique. I feel almost ashamed to be using Mane n Tail leave in on top of that which smells like the most artificial raspberries i can imagine.
Anyone got expirience to share with other products of the line?

I haven't tried, but googled about it. Found equaly negative and positive reviews. Must say I'm quite inrtigued, so I might be getting a sample (it's to expensive to get the whole bottle as my hair and scalp are pretty picky). I'll let know how I find it :) In the meantime, hope someone else will have some info.

Im glad i didnt read any of the negative reviews before and jumped right into it. of course people have the highest expectations towards something that is supposed to thicken hair. bit clearly ot say it will do so by stimulating the roots which takes a long time and can only work if hair isnt already geowing at maximum capacity. Since im using it as a cleanser i do t need to get a super intense conditioning effect out of it and for detanglimg i dont need any more slip than it provides. Certainly its not something for color treated super dry and damaged hair that has been thinned out by breakage and needs alot of cones to stay anywhere near managable. Even tho i use cones i prefer my cleansing conditioners without them. Also i did read now that some people were repulsed by the smell, mwhich is the greatest thing imo. It does smell of natural herbs, maybe strange to those who prefer artificial strawberry or vanilla otherwise. For the shampoo and scalp recitalizer i cant say anything, but the conditioner might make it onto the top of my CO list.

I was really tempted when they advertised it here on tv, but got completed put off by the price of the whole set. Since it's clearly something that you need to use regularly and for a long period, it ends up being way too expensive (and I do spend quite a lot on hair stuff, but seriously, this is just too much.)

I don't use this but my husband has been using this line for quite a while now. I almost want to say, at least a couple of years. Before that, he was using Nioxin. He is using it for thickening up his hair/scalp health. He is very worried about thinning. He doesn't have any bald patches or anything but he worries about it a lot so his stylist suggested it to him and he's been much happier with the Invati results than compared to the Nioxin. He's got very short hair though, and isn't a long hair at all so even if it seems pricey, it lasts a long time for someone with a regular men's type of short haircut.

The smell is just okay to me. I get migraines so I can't tolerate strong smells and luckily neither can he. I think, because his hair is so short, it doesn't really linger that long anyway.

Great to hear that even men like to use it to prevent hairloss. I gurss on shorthair the results are also kind of easier to monitor, as with long hair any change in texture, volume or build up can play tricks on us.
I like that they target the problem literally at the root instead of just using another weird thickening polymer mixture.
in any case, if it cleanses well, keeps shedding to a minimum and slightly accelerates growth or improves the quality of incoming hair i will keep buying it. so i really only need the conditioner. The entire set probably looks pricey, but if it turns out the work well together and not much other products or expirimenting is needed i consider this to be valuable enough. 1000ml cost roughly 91 British Pounds and the bottle will last me about 30 washes which is more than 6 months... and god knows i can buy an awful lot of crap in that time exceeding the price of the conditioner by far just because im bored or mildly unsatisfied with what i previously used. I like alot of drugstore budget stuff but if something turns out to be really good theres no point in restricting myself.
But well, i just used it once so i have a bit of time to find out if its worth it sizing up or not.

Looks like there's a free offer for a trial of the trio at nearby Aveda salons here (http://www.aveda.com/invati/index.tmpl). I don't know if that's something helpful for you, Minako (or anyone else reading) but I thought that was pretty cool.

It did show a difference in his hair, but he's a totally different hair type (maybe 1a/F/ii) and had bad habits/lots of stress that have also changed for the better in addition to better hair care. So a bit of everything probably helped. He'll keep using it though because it's something that is working for him right now and making him happy.

Thanks for starting this thread! :D I think I still have my Aveda Invati sample stashed away somewhere, and I forgot to try it out:doh:, probably because the bottles are so tiny it would only be enough for a quarter of my head. I'll admit, I find the price of full bottles way too high for me (I use about 5-7 palmfuls of conditioner each time), but it's still interesting to check out as samples.
Aveda claims that it's the turmeric and ginseng in their Densiplex blend that make it effective. Generally speaking, for thinning hair, minoxidil for male pattern baldness and female pattern baldness as well as anti-fungals for hair thinning due to scalp issues are probably the best avenues.
Full ingredients (since Aveda website isn't providing them) are posted here, in case somebody is wondering:

Gabriel, did your husband tell you why he prefers Aveda Invati over Nioxin? And did he find Nioxin too drying?

meteor, sorry for taking so long to get back to you! He did say it (the Nioxin) was just a little drying. The Nioxin left his scalp feeling tight. It didn't give him flakes or anything though, but again he's got hair that can be cut with clippers so his hair/scalp and his routine is much different than a long hair's.
