I have read the phrase triangle head a few times here and what I understand is that it's the natural layers your hair makes as its growing out. Can you guys actually post photos of it ?

Triangle head is what happens when you have a blunt cut and really thick hair. The hair is attached in top, but the ends are free, so they mushroom out into a triangle shape. It's prevalent in curlies and wavies with blunt shorter cuts, or those with thick, short hair.

Her (http://www.mywomenshairstyles.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/shoulder-length-thin-wavy-hairstyles-with-light-copper-brown-hair-color-for-long-face-women.jpg) hair looks quite nice and styled, but look how it's full at the ends, it's similar to this, but somehow bushy looking.

People with thick hair tend to layer (http://www.prettydesigns.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/Long-Layered-Stacked-Bob-Haircut-for-Curly-Wavy-Hair.jpg) the ends during this phase which is around shoulder and apl.

Yep, I get this from shoulder+ to after APL, and I have straight, fairly fine have but LOTS of it. Basically, I think it's just that the hair is not heavy enough for the weight of it pulling DOWN to counteract its tendency to "fluff" OUT, so the edges stick out. I just added a slight U-cut to my hair the other day (from a blunt cut) and I think that has removed the last vestiges of the triangle head this time, though it was already mostly gone because my hair is well past BSL.
