guy hairstyles?

My boyfriend has been looking for a different way to wear his hair.. it's not long - it's like 1in-2in but he can cut it shorter.
He wants someyhing classic. His hair is 2a (most likely, its short though), F, i. He has some hairloss at the temples, large eyes, large nose, high forehead and a slight overbite(nothing too boticeable though) and a slightly "heart shaped face", I'd say

What would you recommend? I think some volume would be key, but I don't know..

I'm not good at estimating guy hair lenght/pixie cut lenght.. it 's nust all the same lenght, "pixie cu" style..
