Side bun and braid question

Does it matter which side you wear a side bun or side braid? Thanks for replies.

I don't think so. I prefer my side braids on the opposite side from my part. I have no specific reasoning for putting it there I just always do.

For me, I'm right-handed so it's a lot easier to braid on the right side than the left. Even when I do pigtails, I usually have to redo the left pigtail at least twice until it looks right. I just don't have the coordination on that side.

I try to alternate but I tend towards the left. In theory if you only do it on one side in the exact same spot every time the tension could cause hairloss.... but I think that's very unlikely unless you are also pulling it super tight like a Croydon Facelift.
