I was wondering if anyone has tried a heatless method to straighten their naturally curly hair, and if you would like to share it ? :)

I have tried to wrap my hair around my head, but it did not really become that straight and it did not really look so smooth and nice...

I would love to find a method that works so I'm hoping with the help of you guys that I will find one! :)

Have you tried banding it? Making a ponytail or two piggie-tails, and then banding down the length (an elastic every few inches). Here's a video:

Try wrapping it while its damp. Before you go to sleep. When you wake up you'll have straight hair. All you need is bobby pins.

Wrap with turbie towel works for me.

If I oil when almost dry then wrap, it works. Brushing with a BBB helps too.

Wrapping my almost dry hair around my head with bobby pins and covering tightly with a silk scarf for the night works great for me. It doesn't give perfectly pin straight results as you would get with using heat, of course. I also get softness and smoothness from this.

I will try it again, I think my hair was a bit too wet when I tried it, but thanks guys, hope it works!! :D

I actually tried this once, but I might give it another try. For some reason I have been trying out things on wet hair... and now realise I need to let it be more on the dryer side :p Thank you for sharing!:)
