I hate to part with things-anything! I am aterrible hoarder:D The first two Flexi 8's are just too small for my hair. So even though I love them, I would rather see them used than just sitting there looking sweet.

I was saving these for the swap box...BUT ...I think Iwill try to swap them instead. I am looking for Pairs of Barrettes, french roll combs or cloisonne combs. They are still in the bag and still have tags. I wore them once. So sweet, simple and elegant. I just think they would work better for someone with finer hair. It's a shame to keep them in a box when someone could be adoring them. :D

A little fairy flew into my hair or why I love the swap board.

I went out grocery shopping this afternoon and when I came home I noticed a distinctive bulge in my mail box. My heart began to beat faster . . . certainly, it can't be . . . I dare not hope that it could possibly have arrived so soon . . .

Like a child at Christmas I abandoned my groceries in the car and rushed to relieve my mail box of it's burden. A lovely, light weight box awaited me and I heard a tiny voice saying, "free me, release me . . . let me out, let me out!" What could I do? The voice sounded quite beguiling and just a little distressed. The poor thing.

My eager fingers found some scissors and began working the tape. Whoever packed this did not want the tiny prisoner to escape. It took a bit of patience but finally the box opened and inside the box was a tiny gift bag and a sweet little note, signed with much love from the hippie chick. My trembling fingers reached into the bag and there released the sweetest little fairy gripping tightly to a rose and sprig of rosemary. I can only assume the sender sent these items as a small comfort to the tiny fairy on her long journey across the mountains.

As soon as I picked her up the tiny sprite dropped the contents of her little arms and in sheer gratitude to me as her liberator she flew into my hair and there remained, holding my hair up off my neck and out of my face. How very sweet of her! I think I'm in love.

Thank-you for the compliment. When I feel all happy and child-like (as when I get a lovely new hair toy) my inner child likes to come out and play.
