Hi guys,
this is my first post ever here, and i really need some advice

A couple of days ago i tried lightening my hair from a dark dark blond/light brown to an ashy light blonde. I used Majiblond 901 s with a 30vol developper.
I left it on for about 50 minutes, and my hair has really lightened quite a lot but it has this really orange shine to it.
In the picture you can only see the orange a little bit in the front, but believe me, my hair is orange all over....:(

So could anybody give me some advice? Do i need to lighten it further to get past the orange stage? I already tried a toner and purple shampoo but nothing worked... I don't think i 'fried' my hair, as it feels quite healthy, only a little dry at the ends (but coconut oil is my best friend for this :) )

Hair goes through red, orange and yellow when lightening it. Lightening brings out the contributing pigment, which is the basic pigment of that colour, if that makes sense. Here's (http://hair-and-makeup-artist.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Undertones.jpg) a useful color chart. Lightening strips away everything, leaving only contributing pigment.

If you're happy with the darkness of your colour, use toner. Do not use purple shampoo - purple shampoo is meant to tone yellow shades, since purple and yellow are complementary colours. Try blue instead: orange and blue are complementary colours.
If you're not happy with the darkness, bleach more and tone then with the right complementary colour. And remember to moisturize a lot!
Here's (https://mikeb2mr.files.wordpress.com/2012/04/img_2163.jpg) a chart with undertones and how to tone them.

Good luck with lightening :) Hopefully this comment was helpful. Someone correct me if needed, I'm no expert :D
