I *think* it was like a Fig-8, but instead of pulling one loop up, you pull 2 loops up/sideways, individually.
I just did that and it works, but, no, no photo, it's already dark outside.

Um, was it maybe a clover bun?

An infinity? Or maybe a pretzel? Flipped bun? Does the finished bun look like a sideways figure-8, or do you pull two loops up and sideways separately from the third one that remains in the middle? Do the two loops go up and sideways in two separate directions (one to the right and one to the left)? Or together?

If it was the clover bun, I think that was Dianyla's. I'm pretty sure it was in her photo thread. I had a quick look through the articles on the old board, but didn't see it there.

How weird! I was thinking about the clover bun yesterday, and was going to look through the archive for the instructions. I might have enough length to pull that style off now.

Hope someone can remember how to do it. :)

Not an infinity, definitely. Possibly a pretzel. Don't think it was a Flipped Bun, that one is just flipped up whole, isn't it?

I *think* it was 2 loops up and sideways and in seperate directions.

Could have been called Clover, but may have been for very long hair, since mine is thin.

I found a picture of Dianyla's Cloverleaf Bun in her photos. Couldn't find a tutorial, though, yet.

That looks cool, I like the bits of red, too! You're rocking those sticks. I'd love to know where you got them :)

Ebay (http://stores.ebay.com/Ganges-Joy-and-Beauty-of-India) :eye: they used to be 6 inches total (I don't think length is mentioned in the auction), C shortened mine.

It was Dianyla who posted instrructions in her journal on the archived forums. You can see them here (http://archive.longhaircommunity.com/showpost.php?p=310667&postcount=96) but you might have to log out here and log in there to do so. Sadly the photos don't seem to be there now, but maybe if we ask her nicely....
