Hello all. I'm from Finland soon 25 year old girl. My friend from school told me about this forum. My english is not good so I hope you understand what I write. :) I want longer hair because I think then it's more easier to do all of nice braids and hair do's. I would love to have about 20 cm more lenght. I have noticed that many of here doesn't color their hair. I color it, I have now darker hair than my own and light brown ends. But I haven't color it now maybe for two months and there is shown my own color couple of cm. I don't mind if my colored parts go more lighter or fade away. But I'm not going to bleach it, and not going to color darker for now. Any tips how I can "bleach" or fade color from hair without bleach products? Any natural way? But as I have noticed my mind can change very fast so soon I can color it. Here is own picture of me.

Welcome, welcome! Or should I say tervetuloa :D You have a great start already! You're definitely in the right place.

Hair dye stacks, so it might be difficult to fade that dark color if you have dyed with it for long time (especially if it's permanent dye). You could use clarifying shampoos, but that may not work. You could also try vitamin C treatments, where you crush some vitamin C, mix it with shampoo and let sit in your head for 10-20min. You could also let it grow out (which requires a lot of patience!), or you could go to the hairdresser and let them do some highlights, which help dark parts blend with your natural color.

Hello Welcome . When I dyed my hair black I used vit c and I used anti dandruff shampoo. Good old sunlight will also help fade out colour. But with all the fading treatments remember to look after your hair as you don't want to dry it out and cause more damage. Also sunlight is pretty strong too. I did fade out my black hair dye in the end without bleach but my hair was dry and my scalp was dry due to washing everyday in anti dandruff shampoo. I would not wash everyday and just try to fade slowly with no beach.

I think your hair looks cool .I like the blond ends.

Tervetuloa (= welcome) from another Finn! We seem to have a HUGE wave of Finnish members joining lately!

You have quite long hair already, and what magnetic eyes you have! I don't have any advice about your colour, but I'm sure you'll get all the advice you need (and more, he he) here!
