Hi girls, for those of you looking for new style ideas here is a series of videos I hope you will enjoy. This young Russian has amazing long hair and handles it like a pro! She's just so quick and adept with her hair. Should any of you wish to try these styles post them here if you like along with your thoughts.

Regards,

TO.

Well, they are right in a way. But Ukrainians and Belorussians would not like to hear this :D Actually, they would argue about it :) So do not ask Russians what others are hahaha But mistake isn't big, don't think anyone will be offended here :D

And thank you for your kind words :o

I think I'll try that bun with faux fringe and that braid that starts at the back and goes across the face and then down :)

Thanks for the lovely site.
just needed to say, that's rather a horrible thing your Russian friends are saying. There's a lot of bad history of Russian s forcing ukrainian s to be Russian suppressing the language, deporting them to camps and starving literally millions of them to death. There's a war going on right now that's very brutal, after an armed invasion. maybe your friends don't know this, sure they are nice people, but it's not a nice thing for you to repeat. Look it up if you have time. Byelorussians is similar and probably next on the invasion lis t...

Hello Chen Bao Jun,

Fully agreed, it's not a nice thing to say given the history and yes I know the history, so my apologies. Never call a Dane a "Swede," or someone from Wales "English"….

My buddy Vladimir (Russian) upon arriving in Helsinki with me promptly announced "this place should still be Russian!," he's decribed Poland a "Russian Territory" and he'd been living in the US for a decade….alas, he is still my good friend, just has an over-developed sense of territory. Indeed the problems in Ukraine/Russia have negatively impacted my business as well :(

Good luck with your long hair journey :)

Sorry about your business. I hope things improve soon.
Shouldn't bring politics to a thread I guess. Lots of my friends have family suffering badly due to the invasion, one friend came b a ck with photos a couple of weeks ago of some horrible things -- my apologies if I talked down to you and I'm sure Vladimir is a great person. I think people being friends ultimately makes these things better.

Absolutely no worries CBJ ;)

My family are no strangers to war either, and I absolutely know what modern weapons/weapon systems can do to the human body. Business takes me to some rather dangerous places time-to-time trust me….I visit countries and then later the countries of their enemies…..sad.

Crazy thing is I meet so many good people wherever I go.

Excellent videos! Thanks so much for sharing, theoperative!
I love that this Youtuber showed some pretty original ways of styling hair. And man, does she make it look easy! :D Unfortunately, my hair would probably end up in a tangled mess if I attempted multiple knots like what she shows in video #2 and some others. Her hair must be super-slippery to get away with that. :D

And her gorgeous mane reminds me of my Ukranian grandma's silky black hair, when she was young, so yeah, I really like the videos.

You are quite welcome Meteor :) I hope you try some of these styles and post them in spite of your hair type. I will definitely "inflict" them on the wifey as her hair gets longer...;)

Yes, this Ukrainian girl's hair is very WOW! Unfortunately, my own grandmas both had short pin curls with a blue rinse…..eeeeech!

Regardless of where the videos came from - I enjoyed the lot. :) I quite liked the artiness and the originality in the hairstyles. Not sure I could get them to work so seamlessly on me, but I may try after wash day. :)

Thanks for sharing!

"Still be"? That place (Finland) has never been "Russian" in any true sense of the word, just part of the empire, long ago... I wouldn't call that "over-developed" sense of territory, deluded rather ;)

Yep, that's Vladimir  Yes, you are correct, I think he was referring to the Grand Duchy of Finland…. In any case, my other pal Juha Silvola (a Finn and customer) that had dinner with in Helsinki with me and a group of 5 Russian, just smiled and told Vladimir "go ahead, make my day….." LOL

On another note this same Finn "dared" me to join him in the mid winters icy lake/smoke sauna ritual….didn't think I would accept. Well I did, and I actually met the Valkyries…..another story….another time. ;)
