Paint in my hair

I was helping hubby spray paint some ATV parts and now I have a fine coating of black paint in my hair. I know it will eventually wear away but its making my hair dry/frizzt and its tangled something fierce. I'm going to coat it in shea tonight and hope it will loosen some up so it can get washed away. Any other tips to getting this gunk out?

I commonly get acrylic paint in my hair.
CWC often works.

What type of paint is this?

Pretty sure its enamel.

Car paint is an enamel, and takes kerosene to clean up...

So... I wonder if olive oil will help... I'm just thinking aloud, though.

I think I got most of it out, my bath water was black and that was before the shampoo. I used my shea and avocado oil body butter, let that sit for about 1 hour then did 2 CO washings, this seemed to be what removed most of the paint. Since I have SD, I can't leave conditioner on my scalp so I used my current favorite shampoo followed by a light oiling with almond oil.

No more painting without a hat or a scarf.
