Can anyone tell me where I can find one that is not a dud?

Thanks!

I have a lot more trouble with mine if I put oils in. :( But I can't say I've used more than a cheapy I bought locally.

I've got both this (http://image.hippodump.nl/img/products/spuitfles_aluminium.jpg) and this (http://i01.i.aliimg.com/wsphoto/v0/1154733923/Free-Shipping-font-b-spray-b-font-font-b-bottle-b-font-220ml-round-green-bright.jpg) type of mister bottle. I like the smaller kind with the finer nozzle, plus your concoctions won't go bad if you make them in small doses.

I just use the cheap ones from Sally--you can buy just the replacement nozzle/sprayer when they finally die (which I like--less waste since the bottle itself is usually still good).

I always reuse my hair spray bottles they have a fine mist and they're super cheap. I know I'm too frugal.

Bought these on amazon and I really like them. Sturdy but light enough to not mind reaching for them. Never regretted getting the 3-pack.

I use those 2 types, too. I can't figure out if one type is supposed to be better than the other, though. Does anybody know?
I also agree with Anje: skipping oil helps them not clog up so fast.

I used my misters mainly in the summer, to liven up my waves when it was still BSL and could be worn down easily. Nowadays, they just sit there. I used to use a dot of conditioner to half a bottle of distilled water. Never had issues with clogging. You needed to shake the bottle well, though, before use. I think it helped.
