3 Year Hairiversary!

I finally remembered to do one of these! :cheese:

So I started out 3 years ago with pitch black hair. I wanted to quit conventional dyes, and found this forum whilst researching henna and indigo. I did two-step henndigo in the beginning, then I decided that I liked henna-red hair more and I started growing out the henndigo and chemical dye in March/April 2012. My real hair colour is blonette. I had hip-length hair when I joined, but in April 2012 I had to cut back to bsl/mbl because my ends were so damaged. I reached classic stretched last fall, but I cut back to tbl, and I plan on trimming a bit more. It's really weird to look at these pictures, because I'm so used to having red hair.

I started wearing my hair in buns and braids, and my first creations were pretty awful!

I used a variation of the rag curl method to do the heatless curls. I sectioned my hair into 10-12 sections, misted each section and rolled up with 15-20 cm long pieces of pantyhose. I did it in the evening and kept them in overnight.
