LHC Anniversary - 10 years

oin date January 9, 2005 , A bit late but close enough to the date. Holy crap it's been 10 years on here.

Found my 4 years anniversary thread so I'll just add to it as I haven't taken many pictures since then. Hair hasn't changed length all that much in all this time because I've been through several major sheds and am still working on thickening the ends after them. Also between the first picture and the last, my hair grew in from the sheds coarse and wavier. So in the past 10 years I went from 2a/ M/C to 2b/C

Length Progress.
February 2005, soon after I first joined. Hip length.

February 2006.
Note the thickness difference. This was due to the major shed I had. An inch worth of thickness lost. Especially the ends suffered as the longest hairs shed out.

December 2008, No growth since mid summer. Stalled. :mad: It didn't grow at all for a year or so.

It started growing after that year but I had several more sheds after that.
Longest my hair got. This was about 2011. After that I trimmed it back to classic because the ends were thin and I wanted to thicken them.

Thank you! It really was frustrating as it would get a bit thicker and then I'd lose all of that in a matter of a month or two.

I'm trying to thicken it so I can war a wrapped crown braid without tilting my head to the thicker side. :D Some of that fairytailing is never going to go away probably.

chen bao jun, thank you. It was a combination of vitamin deficiency, stress and illness (having the flu 3 times in one year did not help).
bonbon58, maybe. :) There is that meet in the plans and hopefully I can make to that one.

:blushing: I think it's more stubbornness in my part than patience. :lol: I really appreciate the encouragement.
I'm now able to wear a wrapped crown braid occasionally but essentially the stars need to align and braid has to be done is a super specific way for it to happen. So hopefully I'm getting close to not having my head tilt towards the thicker end.
