I have always used goody barrettes for my bangs, and I've always loved them, the ones like this: http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.asp?pid=206763&catid=335590&aid=338666&aparam=206763&kpid=206763&CAWELAID=120142990000053819&CAGPSPN=pla&kpid=206763

But lately every time I use them, my hair gets wrapped up in the little metal circle thing behind the clip, if anyone uses them, you'll know what I'm talking about. so tonight, I had to break two hairs to get them out and that's gonna stunt my growth!! shudder:So does anyone know of any good barrettes, similar to these, that don't get hair wrapped up in any of their little parts?? thanks much!

[COLOR="#800080"]Not similar to those in your link, but great for your hair, the Goody Ouchless barrette. Comes in different sizes/colors. All one piece so no snagging on delicate hair:http://www.amazon.com/Goody-Ouchless-Small-Barrettes-Count/dp/B003XS3JC2 COLOR]

I have had the exact same experience with the hairs getting wrapped in the metal circle. I just avoid barrettes with pointy ends and only buy the regtangulary ones like these: http://www.amazon.com/Goody-Samantha-Barrettes-Assorted-08575/dp/B000KOUJZW/ref=sr_1_36?s=beauty&ie=UTF8&qid=1421429674&sr=1-36&keywords=Barettes :o

If your bangs are long enough, you could use bobby pins.

I use those same goody ones and to avoid hairs getting stuck in the welded end, I dab them with clear nail polish! Makes a smooth bump instead, nothing for hair to get stuck in!

Mini Flexi-8 (https://secure.lillarose.biz/MemberToolsDotNet/ShoppingCartNew/MainCart.aspx?PartyID=-1&PartyGuestID=0&RequestedGroup1Code=&RequestedGroup2Code=) from Lilla Rose? I usually use a mini claw clip to keep back or up any hairs, but I'm going to get some mini 8's for DD and myself.

Have you tried the ones that are the same shape but have a thick jelly-plastic coating on the top? They seem to work for me, since the top of the clip always seems to be where my hair snags... other than that I'm not sure. Sometimes I just use a small elastic to pull my bangs back into a little tuft on top of my head, but this isn't exactly ideal for anything more formal than lounging around the house. ;)

I agree with Doreen, try the coated contour clips (http://www.amazon.com/Goody-Classics-Contour-Epoxy-0-301/dp/B00DRZTK8I/ref=sr_1_10?s=beauty&ie=UTF8&qid=1421673417&sr=1-10&keywords=goody+barrettes). Inexpensive and easy to find.

im using these, they come in various sizes and also a few different colors. its actually considered a somewhat out of style product in germany, but they are very gentle and not too visible.
