3 year hair anniversary with pics!

I have now been growing my hair for 3 years. On January 1st of 2012, I made a conscious descion to do so and never looked back. Many of you have been instrumental in my success, though none more so than Heather (Torrin Paige) who unknowingly became my hair mentor. Through Heather and the LHC, I learned about the the delights of coconut oil, hair sticks, different buns and braids, stretching washes, etc. When I started my journey, I was at 24", or just past APL. I'm now at 36.5" or just over 3 feet. That a gain of a foot in 3 years. This makes me alittle sad as my growth rate isn't what I want it to be, way too slow, but I'm just chipper that its still growing as I near BCL. It's been a long journey of frustration and happiness, of knots and silkiness, of wanting to cut it all off then loving it again. Thank you to all of my LHC friends for your support and advice over the years and for encouraging me not to cut it, knowingly or not.
