Can someone help me out with Miesha Tate's hair for this fight (she's on top)? I get that they're braids...but is it several three-stranders or are they four? Ack, could someone please speak to me as if a small child and explain how this was done.
This was the best picture of the gallery (I thought) for her hair, but the rest of the fight photos can be found here (http://www.sherdog.com/pictures/gallery/fighter/26252/) if someone else finds a better picture.

Thank you very, very much to anyone willing to dumb it down for me. :p

It looks like rows of french braiding to me. The might possibly be a small ribbon braided into the hair as well, the other woman definitely has ribbon braided in. Basically it's the same technique used for cornrows only less are done in her head than is typically done of cornrows and of course cornrows are just thin rows of french braids.

See, I thought so....but I tried multiple french braids in my hair and they didn't look "right." I prolly just suck at it. Yeah, it does look like Elaina Maxwell's hair has ribbon or fake hair braided in (I don't see those colors when her hair is down), which I didn't know was allowed, but I guess it's not going anywhere.
Thank you! :)

Did you possibly do Dutch braids instead of French braids? No matter how hard I try, mine always come out as Dutch, maybe because I'm left-handed. :-)
