Please help me, because every time I use coconut oil I end up with a big mess of grease. How do you effectively remove coconut oil from your hair without using a super harsh shampoo? :(

I use a cheep suave conditioner to remove oils and it works really well, even better than using shampoo imho

I use a "strongly" brewed soapnut cleanser. Works just fine ^^

Conditioner to remove oil, not shampoo.

I super soak my hair in V05 conditioner and leave it, then I usually wash with my sulfate free shampoo and put a bit more conditioner for a bit.

I CWC mine out, usually. The extra conditioner really seems to help remove the oil. Before washing, I'll rinse my hair in warm water for a little longer than I might ordinarily, to really try and work the oil through my hair. I apply conditioner from the ears down, let that sit for a minute, shampoo once, and then condition again. My hair always feels better and softer after this routine, but not greasy.

Exactly what most everybody else said. Lotsa cheap conditioner, extra time and smooshing around, warm water, and a lotta rinsing.
