2 Year Hairiversay

Two years ago on this day I had my BSL hair cut for donation. These two years seem to have gone by simultaneously slow and fast. I learned a lot about taking care of my hair and kicked all the bad habits like shampooing the length, using a plastic tipped brush and using heat. I started braiding my hair when I slept (once I could braid it), and putting it in protective styles. I'm still trying to figure out the best way to wash it but so far WCC seems to be working the best so far. And now here is a self-indulgent series of pictures of my hair growth journey. :rolleyes:

October 18, 2012. Months later I would look at this picture and feel sad that I used to have a braid with that many plaits in it.
