These brushes (both colors) at Aldi (4.99 euro a piece). And what's interesting is that the inner center is totally "mobile" for some reason. I don't know if the "Wet brushes" have that too.
https://www.aldi.be/nl/onze-aanbiedingen/zaterdag-aanbiedingen/haarborstel-9027.article.html
I have put one aside for my wash tomorrow, and I will be detangling with it pre-wash (dry), instead of using my Tangle Teezer knock-off.
Just a quick review. Don't know where else to put it. I just tried this brush and it is *amazeballs*! Everyone in Belgium, get thee to an Aldi and get this brush. If you love a Wet Brush, you will *love* this one. The inner bits move with the detangling process and you have to get used to that a bit, but it doesn't tug or pull and it gets every difficult knot out just like that! Love this thing! :inlove:

Cool ! The budget stores often come up with good products. Last year I bought a wooden BBB from Lidl - German made, 3 year guarantee and unlike some, the bristles are long enough to actually penetrate my hair. It cost £1.50 !

£1.50 that's a great deal. :) I got my first Wet Brush dupes from Action, for €1.49, and then later they were like €1. I think they weren't selling well, but these brushes are amazing, and if you have long(er) hair, you need all the help you can get.
These Aldi ones now even are better than the regular ones, and that's saying something. They were selling really well, though, because I think 2/3rds of them were left and it was the day when the promo went live, around noon.
I am no longer willing to spend around 10 euro or even over for a name brand (like Tangle Teezer), when the knock-offs are so good!

Because, in the past they've really helped my hair to grow healthier, longer, and faster! As you know, if your hair is healthy it will grow longer, right?

Picked up a couple cute hair clips at the dollar store.
Purchased some sticks off of ebay.

And finally made a purchase on Amazon, a 12 pack of wavy plastic sticks in different colors (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07QB5FYHT/).
P.S.: Although it's not technically a hair purchase I did snag a few craft supplies that I will hopefully turn into hair toys or into a way to organize them.

I only have a couple of hairsticks, which my daughter bought for me. One pair is smooth and light aluminum, but very long (9 inches). The other pair is pretty copper wire and a good length (6 inches), but gets bent when I'm pinning up my hair. So I decided to buy some short, durable chopsticks: https://www.amazon.com/TiTo-Outdoor-Tableware-Titanium-Chopsticks/dp/B06XTNZ3CB/ref=sr_1_7?dchild=1&keywords=short+chopsticks&qid=1597416157&sr=8-7

There is another flexi on it's way to me and I purchased 14 more bandannas. I mean the bandannas aren't technically a hair purchase, since they will be being used as a face covering for now, but hey today's masks are future hair accessories, so I don't feel bad about buying so many of them. I have like 30 now, mostly all unique colors. I double bought blues and some greens, since they are my go to colors. But I was so excited that I found a rainbow one today, as well as some tie dye, as well as some other unique colors. Lime green, peach, gray, lilac, cerulean, all 100% cotton so I'm so psyched up right now. I may try going into a different store later this week, just to see if the selection varies by location. :P
Also I picked up this mermaid sparkle scunci brand scrunchie at the dollar store, as well as a few spidery pieces of jewelry at Jo-Ann that may or may not get converted into hair accessories.

I heard a lot about Alverde when I discovered the world of organic cosmetics, back in 2012. Kenra clarifying shampoo and christopher robin rassoul and roses paste. The rassoul one is really good, it got my scalp really clean and my hair looks and feels amazing plus the smell of the roses is lovely. Unfortunately my scalp hurts, feels so sore cuz of all the rubbing you have to do to make it foam. It is nice tho, I wonder if its worth all the work tho.
Kenra has sparkles in it and I do not like that at all! I want a good clean clarify, not a shampoo that's gonna put stuff in my scalp and hair.

4 Miss Jessie’s Multicultural Curls Styling Lotions (my Labor Day Haul)
I am also subscribed to received a tube of Multicultural Curls sent to my house monthly. I decided to buy this product, because I plan on switching up from using gel in my hair so much. It is starting to dry my hair out which it always does no matter what, so I knew that I know that I need to give my hair a much need break from using such for sure. I am also not a strict follower of the CGM or any other method. So, whatever I buy that ends up working great for my hair, that’s what I most definitely plan to stick with.
Oh, and even though the product is titled Multicultural Curls, this is a product that anyone of any race with wavy, curly, and coily hair can use. This product can be used on both adults and children alike as well (for anyone that may interested).

The Argan oil one has silk amino acids, but I'm running out of my preferred protein conditioner, so this will do quite nicely I think.
Also got some tiny soft nylon hair ties for my kid (and also for me for the end of braids.) I'm so glad I stopped using those thin silicone ones, they were wrecking my ends before.

My latest hair purchases were some silk scrunchies & pillowcases (finallllllly, I know I know), & a bottle of glycerin to make some detangler. Tbh I’m not sure which I’m more excited about!
Oooooo I have some aloe gel coming in the mail on Saturday to make some detangler spray. Kimberlily's? I'm excited to try a new thing and moisturize my dry hair. I love washing once a week but sometimes my length needs a little help by day 4 or 5.

A variation on it! I use it after washing and not midweek so much. I’ve been applying aloe alone, so my current detangler is: orange blossom water, avocado oil, glycerin, shake vigorously before spraying onto hands. It smells lovely and so far is working really well! I wanted to get a good detangler figured out before Radiator Season; I suspect I’ll need to up the ante as the weather begins to turn and the air dries out.

So an update. I used the bondi boost dandruff shampoo and conditioner. It was a very creamy consistency both the shampoo and conditioner. I felt like it didn't strip my hair and I only used a small amount of each. My scalp felt slightly refreshed/tingly for about 30 minutes after washing from the peppermint and then went away. I used argan oil after on my hair and mostly towel tried but because I have bad ears and need to keep water out of then, I then caved and blow dried my hair. My hair feels so soft but maybe thats fro the argan oil. I went slightly over the top with the argan oil today and will probably need to wash in a few days now because it will be oil by that stage. I was a bit silly and put argan oil even on my roots so its a bit much. But back to the hair products, they seem good. Gentle and good ingredients.

I'm absolutely in love - they are more beautiful than on photos! Also I have 1 stick gratis (what I was expecting) and one woody comb.
If someone think about shopping with SandalWoodCraft (https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/SandalwoodCrafts?ref=simple-shop-header-name&listing_id=677948442) I really recommend!
With them I have only 2 problems: how get money from more stuff from there and.... how many sticks I can putt to my (pretty small) bun - now I have 3 and I can't decided :silly: .

As for right now, I just bought a shower comb and wide tooth comb from Eternally in Amber. I got a bit discouraged with my hair for a while, but it's finally at a length I'm enjoying so now I'm treating myself, haha. I can't wait for the combs, my old wide tooth comb has been making a big difference in detangling (i was using a BBB only for a while) but it's not smooth.

Hey! I've noticed that we are hair twins! I'm 2c/3a/F/iii, and you are that as well! :D
I also see that you are at CL too! Congratulations! How long did it take you to grow to CL? I wish that my hair was at that length now! But I have a good feeling that someday soon it will get there. I had a girlfriend in high school that has the same hair type of texture as ours but it was never CL. When we first met it was either HL or TBL, and during her graduating year at the beginning she gotten it relaxed and trimmed up to HL!

Hi there!! Cool that we have the same hair type. I started with collarbone length hair in 2014 and I didn't hit classic until 2018. I think 2018- but there were a few years 2017-2019 where I had really bad tendonitis and just threw my hair up and didn't measure or think about it much. All of a sudden I realized it had been almost a year since I trimmed on accident (usually did it .5 inch every 6 months) and then i noticed my hair was past classic.
I see your goal length is terminal! A lot of people with 2c/3a make it past knee so I think your hair will probably get really long. The person in real life I knew with the longest hair probably had 2a hair and hers was tailbone length, it just sort of stayed there since she sat on it and was rough with it ect. It was interesting she never cut her hair anymore but it never really changed. I guess it could have been terminal too but doubt it since I knew her real well. It was pretty.

Hi there! Yes, it cool that we have the same hair type. Yeah, me too also started out with collarbone or a chin length bob when I first joined here at LHC back in 2010. Wow, that's awesome you hit classic in 2018! Awww, I'm so sorry that you had bad tendonitis. Well, that was the best thing for you to do is just put it up, not measure it, and think about it much. Then, all of a sudden you had realized it had been almost a year since you've trimmed it on accident. .5 inches isn't that much to take off every 6 months at all. When I trim which is every 4 months I take off 1cm. I think that is too much. I have a bad feeling that I'm trimming away the length, and I am on the, "No Trimming Challenge," on here. So, I've just had a cm trim 2 weeks ago, and I'm not planning on doing anymore trimming until this time again next year. That's if it really needs it. I've heard people go without trims for 5 or 6 years!
I kind of thinking that's why my hair length is staying the same, and seeming like it's not growing any longer. Awwww, I thank you so much for the encouragement and your positive thinking that people with type 2c/3a can grow really long hair! Because, I also knew this person very well too, and I doubted that her terminal length was tailbone length too! When I saw that she had gotten it relaxed I always imagined when her hair stylist did her hair it had stretched all of the way to classic length! But, I would see her everyday, and she would always keep it trimmed up to BCL! Her hair was also always pretty too.
This person in real life that I knew real well her hair was just like this youtuber's hair. Have you ever heard of a youtuber named, Bella Duenas?" I mean, my friend's hair wasn't the same length as Bella's hair in her videos but when we both met she had the same texture as Bella's.

I mean a centimeter ever 4 months isnt crazy considering most hair supposedly grows 1/2 inch a month. It sounds like a good idea to still grow alot in a year but maintain nice ends. I dont think its a bad idea to take one year off or so but I could never do 5 years ect like some do. My ends start to get tanglier and less silky I personally dont like to do that. Well. Ive never done it. My most recent "trim" I cut off about an inch and a half. It made a huge difference in my ends. Had to make up for slacking off for so long and I was trying to not grow past fingertip so it needed to be cut back. When you stop thinking about hair growth it grows like a weed -_-
Bella Duenas is the person with the red hair theres a thread about right now isnt she? I didnt watch the video but saw the thumbnail. Her hair is pretty def. much curlier than mine. I think I need to hair type again. I mean I can tell my hair is the same as in 2014 but the length does a lot to stretch it out/weigh it down and makes it so much more manageable... which is actually part of why I wanted to grow it out in the first place. Hair typing is so tricky/ complicated. If one saw pics of my hair just dried after wash day they would think i had a different hair type than right before I washed it after being stretched out and calmed down by buns and combing all week.

Ok, cool! I'm glad you said that trimming a centimeter ever 4 months isn't crazy considering most hair supposedly grow 1/2 inch a month. Ok, I will continue to trim a centimeter every 4 months then. Yes, I can't see how some people do it as far as waiting 5 or 6 years to trim their hair, and it still grows healthy. I always love for my ends to look nice and well-kept too. I hate the look of fairy-tale ends! I've also never have waited 5 years before I've trimmed my hair either. Yes, I agree with you that if you stop thinking about hair growth it will grow like a weed -_-
Yes, there is a thread on here about Bella Duenas! I've been posting in there on my thoughts about her video and her beautiful long tresses. Yes, I totally agree with you on that her hair is def. curlier than mine too. Yes, you probably do need to do a hair typing soon. Oh yes, when you keep those ends trimmed nicely it does make a different in them. Yes, I totally agree with you that hair typing is very tricky/complicated but with length it does do a lot to stretch it out/weigh it down to make it more manageable....Yes, that's one of my the reasons why I'm letting my hair grow out as well. A couple of years ago I let a few members on here see a couple of my pics, and they did hair typing on me. They all say I have type 4 hair, and I totally disagreed with them. I agrued with them that when my hair is freshly washed it has more of a loose wave/curl than more of a tight curl. My hair is thick but not thick enough to say that it's in the 4's.
Oh yeah, I forgot to say that sometimes every 4 months I don't think I trim off a centimeter. Because, when I'm doing those dustings every 4 months I only trim off the tips, and that is more like a milileter, and I know that's not crazily too much to take off either.

Not for me, but got my mom her hair dye (Syoss, not the oleo ones but the regular dyes). At 3/4 euro a pop (sale), could not pass that up. There is a Dutch online drugstore that sometimes has these on offer. Awesome! :cheer:
I hope the package gets here soon, because they seem to be behind a bit on delivery... :hmm:

I got myself the chameleon from Woodberryart and feel so happy with it! After a bad experience at the hairdresser (yes once again) I'm determined to grow it out healthier than ever before and protective updos are very important to me right now. So better to invest in some nice hairtoys than once again going to hairdresser to try to "fix" it. In the end it will grow out and I'll let my family member trim the ends.

Not Your Mothers Way To Grow Leave-In Conditioner.
Since I needed a spray leave-in/detangler ASAP, I grabbed this at my local drug store because:
1) It was cheap,
2) slim pickings
and, best of all,
3) it also claims to help grow hair faster (!!!!) :eyeroll:

I've stocked up on satiny scrunchies in every color of the rainbow. I've noticed lately that hair elastics tend to pull at my scalp, while scrunchies are a lot more comfortable. That's awesome. I really want to try this, I got a manufacturer's coupon for it in the mail but I cant find this variety in stores. I tried Walmart and Wegmans. If you don't mind, where did you find it?
edit: Also didn't find this at Walgreens. I will try Target tonight... lol

I recently bought "The Ordinary" hair serum, its a "multi peptide serum for hair density". I have never used something like this before but I bought two bottles. Its a dry oil, it seems, as it doesnt make my hair greasy. (the bottles arrived in the mail today)
My plan is to try it every day for a week and see, I do not want to over stimulate my scalp but at the same time, I would love to have a bit of a night time ritual.
Ill update the forum on my findings. I dont usually oil my scalp in any way since I have SD but I am curious to see if this is different.

Oh I’m excited to hear how they work for you! I’m planning to try using that product once my postpartum hair loss kicks in.

I've just purchased a bottle of Garnier Fructis Pure Clean Shampoo from Listia. I've never tried this product before. I've always just had the conditioner to it. We'll just see how I like, and my hair likes it.

This Lorys hair mask and I am way too excited because of it :D It's thick, it's one kilo for only 2,50 EUR, it smells like chocolate and it actually has 2 layers - top is dark chocolate and in the middle of the tub it changes to white chocolate. And it smells heavenly.

I've used this as my silicone-y conditioner for a while and it's amazingly coney! Love that it comes in a bigger bottle so I don't have to repurchase every week lol
Oh, ok cool! I bet it's amazingly coney! My hair loves coney conditioners and silicones! Because, I've been looking for products that could help me tame frizzy hair. I also loved that when I got it delivered it came in a bigger bottle so that I don't have to repurchase every week too lol

Haha, well there you go. We're both middle-aged. ;) :p Timotei is an oldie, but goodie. I never got along with the shampoo though, it was way too soft (not cleansing enough) for me. But it is a time in my life where there are good memories. :)

Yeah, I hate when certain shampoos are too soft (not cleansing enough). Yes, it is a time in your life where there are good memories. :)
I remember just the other day when I found this hairdressing conditioner my mom used to use on my hair during my childhood at Walmart online for $7.07 for an 80z jar. :)

I bought it in a small local shop in Dubai. But it is made in Brazil, plus it has a polish translation, so I guess it is sold elsewhere too.

I got tempted to try out Garnier coconut milk and macadamia conditioner. It is quite nice so far and I like it. The description says no silicone but it contains Amodimethicone, that I don't mind myself, just letting you know.

Could you show your bottle, please? The one that I have (Ultimate Blends version from the UK) doesn't claim to be silicone-free.

Ok. This is polish version of the conditioner, "bez silikonu" means "no silcone" "sans silicone", it might be some kind of marketing strategy or just a translation error most probably.
Little do they know that we are able to read the ingredients list.

poli I don't think it's a marketing strategy because it would be a fraud and I think this isn't legal. I think more to a translation error.
I looked for the italian version, but I discovered we only had shampoo and mask some years ago, now discontinued. It's funny that your conditioner says "New" :p

All my NightBlooming samples came in, and I think I might be in love. The hair salve especially feels like something I’ve been looking for my whole life. It makes my hair soft and shiny without being greasy.

I recently got the Curly Girls bundle from Inahsi Naturals. I think I'm in love, especially with the Curl Defining Custard-one of the best I've tried, and it has such a unique consistency, not cream, not gel, not quite putty...it's just...interesting. Lot's of moisture, kills the frizz and defined in humidity. I used it over their curl enhancing cream, so I will definitely need to assess using it alone.
