I've been washing with diluted shampoo and V05 Calming Chamomile, and I see a big difference... switched to cones yesterday after doing an SMT and it just made my hair dirty and my scalp itchy within 3 hours. Seems like my hair may have finally gotten used to not being coated with cones and that my lack of heat styling, etc. has helped wean it off them.

BTW SMT does not seem to be that great for me. Think it's the honey. :(

In other news, I've reached APL. It seems a bit anticlimactic now, but I'm very happy. Shoulder to APL in 5 months!

congrats!!! is apl on you 21 inches? because i'm at 21 inches right now, but i don't think i've quite hit apl since i'm so tall (5'9) and have a long torso. =(

when i stopped using cones a few months ago, my hair became very waxy from the all natural shampoo i was using, so i started using cones again. any suggestions?

That is fabulous!

I love Calming Chamomile. I love the scent. It's not a chamomile scent, I just like it. :) Congratulations on your success!

That's great re your growth. I think my hair has got used to no-cones as well. I used my absolute HG hair treatment, which has cones, last week after no cones for some time before that and it didn't seem to work like it used to.

I was 21 inches this time last year!

Your hair is growing well and looks very healthy too.

Yeah I'm planning on posting another length shot in about a month, when I'm APL-while-wavy-and-not-wet.

Jojo I can only hope my hair is as healthy looking as yours next year. :)
