My one year anniversary (pic heavy)

Hey all i just wanted to post about my journey this last year. Apologies for pic heavy, i blame you lot lol. I have become obsessed with taking pics of my hair lol.

A year before i joined my hair was butchered by a vidal sassoon student which looked ok at the time but took ages to grow nicely.

I ended up colouring my hair to death in the space of 3 months!

Very bad of me but i went from brown to blonde to auburn to bright red back to dark brown, then i tried to remove the colour using colour before, then did a semi perm colour that just made it go dark brown again! i tried natural fade methods then tried ombreing the ends only for it to be a disaster. i tried covering that up with a brown dye only to discover that my ends no longer take colour!!!
All this and i was still trying to grow my hair back to the length it was before of BSL. I had to get it cut back to shoulder length.

I stopped colouring my hair in the October and started hennaing my hair in the November using lush to start.
In march i got my last hair cut in the salon.

I now only do search and destroy although i feel i may need to get an inch cut off soon as the last inch is in my opinion a bit too damaged and could do with it.

Then in June i started using BAQ henna and its made such a difference. I also use no sulphates and no silicones and use only a tangle tease on my hair.

Thank you!! I hope in another month i can call it. Ive put off measuring my hair until today knowing that it was going to be my year anni and so have been shocked how long its grown since my last pic with my bra. My nails are really growing quick as well so the vitamins I'm taking must be working too

No worries, it shocked me when i actually measured this month, yet i just looked at my length again with a jumper on and it just looks short to me :( I know its not but i fear we develop hair dismorphia kind of syndrome whilst we are actively trying to achieve long hair.

You will attain your goals quickly I'm sure. When you say same length do you mean as i started with or where i am at now?
Im looking forward to seeing the difference in another year lol
