pictures of my hair now ^
Basically I cut my hair badly a few months ago (slip of the scissors) and got it evened up as much as it could be and the front bits that were shorter made into layers to make it look right.. Theyre quite dry though whereas the rest of my hair is super healthy.. and I feel they make my hair look shorter :/ I cant get it cut again otherwise it would be a bob! And I feel the need to straighten these bits at least otherwise they go all frizzy/stick out/look bad! Any advice for growing these bits out fast without losing anymore length from the bottom ?! Please help :((
should I just go for a big chop and get it over with or do you think it will blend and be more manageable as it gets longer?

I feel like a half inch to an inch would make a difference as it would bring it up to the next layer and would look more even.. the front part directly around my face I don't mind.. just the parts that are sitting shorter than my hemline in the hair look bad

I don't think it looks bad, just let it grow out with the rest of your hair! At some point, really, you are going to have to stop cutting your hair. You won't get anywhere if you keep cutting it. :flower:

Hope you don't mind me adding, I'm growing out face framing layers, I've had somewhat face framing ones naturally anyway, which wouldn't grow out.

They don't look bad to other people. As they can't usually reach up-dos easily, keep them moisturised and clip back to help prevent damage so they can grow out more easily.

Once they can go in buns etc. they're not a bother at all.

It's like growing out bangs (fringe). It takes about forever to be long enough to *do* something with. But when I kept trimming them up to make them look better, they didn't grow out I finally had to just accept that for a while they weren't going to look great and just let them grow enough.

I wouldn't cut, it looks normal to me (like any other layered hair you might come across.) It will only get better as it grows, cutting it doesn't really solve anything. You might have to style it for now but in a few months think how much longer it would be. :)
