Considering getting maybe 1/2 an inch trim, my ends are kinda frayed so I could use it but should I? I don't want to lose any growth so should I just wait?

2-week rule! It basically means give yourself 2 weeks to decide, and don't do anything on impulse.

Do you care about your ends being frayed ? If you want perfect ends, trim, if you don't, then don't trim !

As lapushka said give yourself some time to decide if you need to

Thanks good advice, I'll wait for now. I care more about length at the moment than if my ends are frayed.

If what you mean by frayed ends is split ends - please trim. Splits tend to get wider, break off, get wider, break off. You can fail to gain length because of it. I've been there.

If you mean uneven ends that are in good condition, by all means - don't trim.

Like spidermom said, if you have damage from splits or white dots, definitely trim before it gets worse and you end up having to chop off a lot of hair. If they are just a little crispy I would suggest some light oil or leave in conditioner and wear up to protect the ends from any further damage :)
