I absolutely love Christina Aguilera's hair in Burlesque, but how would you recreate these two styles without heat?
Loose curls (http://media-cache-ec0.pinimg.com/736x/2a/d8/43/2ad84359c7dcbc89629b72e7499d290a.jpg) and Curled Updo (http://media-cache-ec0.pinimg.com/736x/fb/81/f8/fb81f886d41883e55a873bf6c44b6312.jpg)

Thank you :)

Not sure about the super curly updo but if you go to Youtube and search for "heat free curls" you will find loads of ideas. Cocoon curls, curls with rags, curls using paper plates (yes really) Check it out!

I'd probably do rag curls.

Wash your hair and let it airdry - when it is 50-90% dry (a little damp, but not fragile), you could twist it, do a twist braid, and then stick that into a little bee-butt bun (and you don't need to do the roots for the first picture). If you put all of your hair into 2-4, you will probably get a style similar to the first, which will have loose waves.
For tighter curls, you might want pipe-cleaners or curling rods that are quite tight, or ravel hair around some rags. Again, tie them off, and sleep on them overnight, checking they are dry in the morning before taking them out.

The size of the curl will be determined by how "fat" your curler is, and I find your curls tend do be a bit larger than the cylinder you use, so the curlier you want it, the tighter you must do it. :)
