Straighten Hair Without an Iron!!!!!

I just learned about straightening balm, and this one has some reviewers claiming it didn't need an iron. Has anyone tried this? I think combine the straightening balm with this method:

I tried doing a method similar to this before but my hair was too long when i tried it :P Maybe it works better for shorter hair to wrap it up.

I have hair between apl and bsl and wrap it every night. I use duck bill clips to hold it in place while wrapping. You can open them and stuff more hair in if you need to go around more than once. I wrap a silk scarf around my head after all my hair is wrapped and slide out the clips. The whole process takes less than two minutes but I've been doing it for a while. It results in perfectly straight hair in the morning. I use two drops of oil before wrapping...no other product and don't bother to dampen my hair. Works every time for me.
