Hello, everyone! I would like to know if there is a sticky post that lists and rates long-hair-friendly salons. If there isn't one, maybe we should start one!

I would really love to visit a salon that uses the techniques of the late Dr. George Michael, long-hair guru, but I don't live near any of the three GM salons in the United States: New York, Ohio, and California. Those salons set your hair on rollers and dry it so the hair is straight, and then the stylist cuts the hair dry.

It would be great to have recommendations for long-hair-friendly salons, even if they don't use GM techniques; perhaps a list could be helpful for everyone! I am in Colorado, so I would love recommendations for my area, of course. :)

Thank you, Johannah! This is helpful. I wonder, though, if anyone has updates to the list of salons. Anyone?

You might get a better response if you pose that question in the thread that Johannah linked. :)

You are right, of course. I will try that!
