Two year anniversary!

Here is a comparison shot, with a pic from Nov 06, a couple months after I joined, to May 08 on the left.

In June I trimmed a couple of inches, regretted losing the length but LOVE my much healther and happier ends. I've been trimming here and there as I go but losing 2 whole inches of the much-abused old hair really made a big difference. It also made it SO blunt, I decided I didn't like it. So, in the past few weeks I've trimmed it into a U. So all in all, I'm a little shorter that I was back in May, but it's in much better shape and I like the hem better.

Here are two pics from today, the first shows the length a little better - the longest bits are a couple inches past waist. It's still kinky from my braid, too, which shrunk it a bit I think. I'm a little past 33" at this point, my next goal is 36," which is hip, and from there I'd like to head to tailbone! My plan is no more trims until hip, when I will see what/if I need.

Looks like we are growing at same rate. i think i'm a little slower than you. i joined in end of '05 at about 24" and fixing to have a 3 year anniversay with length being at 32" hopefully I'll be 33" by then will see. Your hair looks great and so healthy by the way.:)

I grow at .5" per month, although the past month or two has been slower. And I've trimmed quite a bit. So you might be quite a bit farther than this in 1.5 years!
