Me- "honey im trying something new for growth... im spraying green tea onto my hair and scalp!"
Hubs- "string cheese? You ladies put so much weird stuff on your hair. Better be careful.... I might start munchin on your hair and kill your miraculous cheese growth. And man thats gonna stink after a while... will it be chunky?"
Me-(inbetween laughing) ".......no honey... GREEN TEA.
Hubs- "oooohhhhh that makes a lot more sense now."

Hahahahahaha I thought youd all appreciate that one. :):cheese::cheese:

My hubby asks me " babes, why are you so obsessed with growing your hair?"
I say: " coz I miss my long hair which I had to cut just after our wedding last year"
lol, then he says" not to worry madam, your hair will grow long, but please don't use my rooibos tea for tea wash'.

hahaha

In the US, it's a type of mozzarella, dried a bit compared to the really fresh stuff, that you can buy here in a short stick shape, maybe 15 cm long and 1.5 cm across. It peels apart from the end in long pieces. We typically have it available as a snack, often for kids.

Now I want some.

String cheese is new to me too. We don't get that here at all (Belgium). We do, however, get plenty of Babybel, though. :D

Mmm, string cheese. Love that stuff. I don't know that I would put it on my hair, though!

:rollin: :spitting: Oh, that's priceless, bna_rapunzel! Although knowing this group, putting string cheese in our hair is not actually that far fetched. :cheese:

:hmm: Now, do I want to add Babybel or string cheese to my grocery list for snack food? String cheese is more fun to eat but Babybel is a bit tastier... Decisions decisions...

Angela_Rose - 26 minutes apart is likely a new record for a duplicate post. The LHC server must be comatose.

bna_rapunzel, Sparklylady82, jacqueline101, and urs - tell your SO that men too can join in the fun (although we won't put string cheese in our long hair). :cheese:

It sounds delicious, I wonder how it's possible that I had never heard about this before. I'm sure that there is no less than 80% of cheese in my blood

fišrildi,I think what they are describing is err...korbįčiky...it comes in this shape where I live so maybe it is similar where you live :D http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/4/4e/%C3%9Aden%C3%BD_korb%C3%A1%C4%8Dik_%28Slovakia%29. jpg/250px-%C3%9Aden%C3%BD_korb%C3%A1%C4%8Dik_%28Slovakia%29. jpg

ETA: Eh,mozzarella,I can't eat cheese but I think korbįčiky aren't made out of mozarella...

I needed that today! Makes me wonder whether instead of drinking the green tea I make, maybe I should let it cool and massage it into my scalp. :D

I wonder what would happen if you used sour cream or cream cheese? :hmm:
