When my hair was growing I had a couple of these that I wore to keep it up and out of the way. I loved them and wore them to death. Mine were more expensive than this and still worth every penny. I just wanted to share the link in case anyone had shorter hair and needed a way to keep it up while growing it out.

Ooooh! *flashback* I've worn those when I was 12 years old after I cut my hair to shoulder length! They were amazing!

I have one of those I got in Camden when I had my first LHC mini meet with Ms Monnie and Pegasus Marsters. :) I still have it, it's lovely.

Oh no, not those. They never stayed in my hair. I blame my thickness. They just flooped right out. The combs wouldn't stay in.

Putting in a comb trick: lay it wrong side against your hair, move it up and raise it up slightly while putting the teeth against your scalp. Flip it right side up and push down. It should be secure.

I did all that. ;) It still came out. IMO it's just a bad product.

They always looked great on others, but made me heebie-jeebie because there were all these weird little pulls on my hair.

I bet it looked phenomenal in your hair, Stormynights!

These don't work for me. My hair is way too fine so they slide right out after a while. Pretty, though.

I have two of these, and they don't hold and if they do,they tend to slip out after some time.
Bad news you are all telling me,as I intended to put them up as a RAOK for someone with shorter hair.I though they'd hold better.Ah well I have to think of something else.

How do you actually wear those? In a twist?

I bought a Scunci Upzing (http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B003DKMMP0/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?qid=1408628586&sr=8-3&pi=SX200_QL40) to wear over a cheater's French twist for sports. Unfortunately, it was impossible to remove without causing damage. It was solid as a rock when it was in place, though.
