So yesterday was my one year hair anniversary... :)

It's been a year since i joined LHC and decided to start taking care of my hair. Time sure flies fast... :) I learnt a lot of things on this forum. I found out about coconut oil and it's benefits, henna, i learnt braiding styles that i didn't know how to do earlier, i learnt that keeping my hair up is far more comfortable and healthy for my hair, i found out about different ways to condition my hair. I got a lot of inspiration of you all and now i can't wait to be The real long hair :D
So this is my very first monthly lenght picture ( i took it on september 8. My hair was hennaed over chemical red dye.)

I am at APL now. As you can see i still have a lot of damage left from chemical dye. I trimmed off one inch (or slightly more) of my hair in november and one in april.. My next trim is planned in november again.
You can see my demarcation line more clearly from the side. The darker color is henna on my natural dark blond/light brown hair...

So there you have my year worth of growth (11 months actually since i took that first picture :) )

Thank you, everyone, so much for your support.. I don't get much compliments on my hair so it's really nice of you all. I really can't wait to get rid of that big piece of damage, but i don't think i'll have the guts for a big chop, so i'll keep that ombré for quite awhile :o And sparklylady, of course we can .. All we need is patience! :)
