Got disinfectant in my hair, is it damaging?

Yesterday I went to a tattoo shop to get a piercing, and I had to lay on the table that hadn't completely dried after putting disinfectant (or something similar that smelled bad) on it to clean it. I washed my hair the same day after that, but I was wondering if disinfectant is damaging to hair?

I wouldn't think so, and you washed it out anyway. Glad to hear they use disinfectant.

Nope, one time can't really do anything to your hair. It contains alot of alcohol, so i wouldn't recommend to use it as a leave in, lol. But dont worry about this little bit.
Assuming that your hair came out after the wash just like it normally would.

Doubt it since you didn't soak in it or anything. if there is any damage it's minimal if any. I'd just be glad you know for certain that they are sterile.

It would probably be damaging to wash your hair with it, but the exposure that you describe is completely benign.
