Hi everyone! I am debating on trimming my hair or not, because I haven't gotten a trim in around 9 months. I think I will wait until it was been a year. I want to get 1 inch off and a slight U hemline, and my questions are: How would that work for cinnabuns? What is the best hemline for buns?

The reason I am asking is because I play a professional sport and I only keep my hair in a bun, because ponytails like to whip me in the eyes. My hair is 1-2 inches past APL. Thank you for your help in advance!!

It's kinda hard to get a bun to stay much shorter than APL, eh? Don't trim too much. I have a slight U and it's fine. But right when I trimmed last year, those blunt ends made bunning harder for a little while. some degree of tapered ends make for better bunning, IMO.

I agree with Wildcat Diva. Some tapering makes it easier to tuck the ends into the bun to make it secure and tidy. A U works just fine.
