I had to start a thread on this seller because I just found one of my favorite hair toys. Well, it's not advertised as a hair toy (it's supposed to be a shawl pin), but you know how it is around here, we improvise ;) By the way, excuse the crappy phone cam pictures, but I thought this seller deserves her own thread due to all the beautiful Victorian style things she has in her shop. Ooo, I don't have anything from her yet, but I LOVE the aesthetic of some of those bird-nest hair sticks. I have my eye on this one:

They are sooo pretty and come in pretty bows and boxes. Pat was also great. Her stuff is very well made. I got the bird's nest with the rust colored eggs. I love it!

I'm a bit updo challenged myself, but I do know that she can turn anything into a hairstick so if you see a specific topper you like, she can customize it for you. My suggestion would be to go on youtube and find a style you can copy that works for you. Trust me, I sit with the computer twisting and turning the hair until I manage to get it :)

I know other people who have run into shipping troubles have posted on the Swap Board asking someone in the US to buy & then ship them the things . . . I think several people have had success with that. So if you're really dying for one, you could either join one of the hairtoy swaps or put up a post asking for someone to help you ship it. There's a lot of helpful people on the Swap Board.

The sparklies came!

The first is the actual hair stick. Looove it.

The two in the second pic are actually the hat/hair pins. As you can see, I can actually put my hair up with them alone, but it's not super solid and you don't want to apply much torque to them. They're better as decoration with something else really holding it up, maybe a spin pin or something (or as hat pins, as they were originally intended). And they come with a metal stopper to put on the pointy end. :)
