Hairstyles for bsl hair?

I'm sorry if there is a thread for this already.
I don't know what to do with my hair at bsl, I tend to just bun it or french braid it (my hair doesn't look good in an English braid) but I want to do different things with it so I keep it up to protect it and forget about the length.
What are some interesting hairstyles for bsl that will protect and look nice?
