Hey all!
I did highlights on my virgin hair and decided I didn't care for them, so I colored it back to my medium brown. Anyway, one overnight coconut oil treatment (with 15 minutes of heat) pulled out ALL the permanent color. Seriously, completely gone.
So, after doing some digging, I read where using something acidic closes the cuticle. So, I thought maybe adding some vinegar or something else acidic to the coconut oil may keep the color in? Anyone try this?
